As an energy drink focused on bringing the gees , Switch always look to “switch things up” at any property they sponsor and bring their own unique flava!

OBJECTIVE

  • Announce Switch as a SA20 partner, drive share of voice/relevance
  • Increase affinity & saliency towards the Switch brand
  • Deliver unique experiences at each game
  • Sample product at all games
  • Entertain dealers and partners at games

WHAT WE DID

Switch introduced a unique flava to the SA20:

  • Launch – video video across all digital platforms
  • Broadcast – Switch hit of the match
  • Match day activations – Switch it Up activation on the stadium big screen
  • Event day activations – sampled fans and brought the ‘gees’
  • Host Switch partners in various facilities

RESULTS

Switch only agree to sponsor the tournament  in November 2024, giving us less than two months to plan & deliver. Despite this, we managed to:

  • Launch video – Bongi Mbonambi, delivering almost 200,000 impressions
  • Awarded R250,000 in prize money
  • Sampled over 50,000 fans
  • Hosted over 200 VIP partners
