As an energy drink focused on bringing the gees , Switch always look to “switch things up” at any property they sponsor and bring their own unique flava!
OBJECTIVE
- Announce Switch as a SA20 partner, drive share of voice/relevance
- Increase affinity & saliency towards the Switch brand
- Deliver unique experiences at each game
- Sample product at all games
- Entertain dealers and partners at games
WHAT WE DID
Switch introduced a unique flava to the SA20:
- Launch – video video across all digital platforms
- Broadcast – Switch hit of the match
- Match day activations – Switch it Up activation on the stadium big screen
- Event day activations – sampled fans and brought the ‘gees’
- Host Switch partners in various facilities
RESULTS
Switch only agree to sponsor the tournament in November 2024, giving us less than two months to plan & deliver. Despite this, we managed to:
- Launch video – Bongi Mbonambi, delivering almost 200,000 impressions
- Awarded R250,000 in prize money
- Sampled over 50,000 fans
- Hosted over 200 VIP partners
